Did Peter Piper pick a peck of pickled peppers?
If Peter Piper Picked a peck of pickled peppers,
Where's the peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked?

The shells she sells are surely seashells.
So if she sells shells on the seashore,
I'm sure she sells seashore shells.

An Accident At The Park

It was a beautiful Sunday morning.  My father and I went to the park.  At the park, my father taught me some cycling techniques on riding a two-wheeled bicycle patiently.  He also taught me how to balance myself.  After some time, I could finally ride on my bicycle by myself.

While I was enjoying cycling, I felt the fresh air breeze.  Halfway while I was cycling, a tortoise suddenly appeared on the cycling path.  I swerved my bicycle to avoid hitting the tortoise and released my hands off the handlebars.  But it was too late, I lost my balance and fell onto the path.  My head hit the path and I groaned in pain.  When my father saw that, he quickly came to my rescue.

What an unforgettable experience I had!  From that day onwards, I did not dare to cycle again.

Term 2, Week 7, 10 May 2013, Friday

Model Composition Contributed by 2G pupil.

It was a beautiful Sunday morning.  My mother and I went to the market.  We took a bus there as there was no market near our house.  As soon as we alighted from the bus, we could hear the hustle and bustle of the market.

When we approached the market, the first voice we heard were the shouts of a fishmonger.  He was trying to attract people to buy his different varieties of fish.  There were red snappers, groupers, crabs, mackerels, mussels and prawns.  My mother chose some red snappers and bargained with the fishmonger.  After much persuasion, the fishmonger finally gave in to my mother and was willing to sell the prawns to her at a discount.  He cut the fish into smaller parts before wrapping and handing it to her.  Next, we went to the vegetable section of the market.  My mother bought a variety of vegetables like spinach, carrots, cabbages and cucumbers. Finally, we went to the fruit stall to buy some apples.  After making payments at the fruit stall, we decided to take a taxi home.

We waited patiently at the taxi stand.  After a long wait, we got into the taxi and went home.  When we reached home, my mother who was feeling tired and hot immediately sat on the sofa and asked me to get her a glass of cold water.  What an unforgettable experience I had to accompany my mother to the market!
